Lenka Jará

My name is Lenka Jará and I am a lifelong self-taught painter, with breaks in between. I paint mostly landscapes,landscapes with a touch of abstraction,but also abstraction.I am fascinated mostly by clouds,storm clouds.I study them and as I say: "Painting does not need any literary story or commentary because it is the carrier of all information. Art has a visual effect and only visual effect If people don't understand my work, no words will help them. I also paint on commission and I am extremely grateful when people like my style and paintings.Each painting is original and I try to put my soul into the painting. I paint to music and I believe that this element is woven into my canvases and resonates on in waves. Through painting I always try to capture and process a subject that is tumultuous for me at the time. I decided to sell my paintings 3 years ago.I also run an art club at school.I try to get the children to step out of their comfort zone and put a little bit of themselves into their art.Painting is a hobby.I would love to do it full time but it is a dream that I am fulfilling little by little.My loving husband and two grown up children are helping me with this.
