Daria Baronová

Daria Baronová was born in Brno. She has loved to paint since she was a child and was selected as a talent. She started attending the primary art school where she painted under the guidance of the Academic painter Ivan Kriz. After that she got to study at the Graphic Art School in Jihlava, where she studied photography, graphic art, drawing and painting under the guidance of painter and graphic artist Radek Wiesner. Due to serious health reasons, she had to return to her hometown where she transferred to the secondary school of art and design, which she defended - majoring in exhibition design. Her distinctive style full of abstract paintings and paintings combined with figure was created in 2015. In 2021, during the time of the covid, she was approached by a group of artists in Prague - Tlustá čára , which led to an event and a challenge, followed by a subsequent exhibition of artists from all over the Czech Republic. The artists exhibited in a unique space in Prague's Invalidovna na karlíně - Studio Alta. She held her first major exhibition in 2022 in the stunning functionalist space of the two-storey Zeman's Café. Here the works were exhibited for three months in full view. During the exhibition, there were design cultural events or the book launch of the modern culture association Devětsil, in which she participated as part of her work. She also exhibited in other cafés. Many of her paintings decorate residential buildings and large-scale paintings can be seen in parking houses.
