Painting kind of came to me on its own. I always wanted to try it, but there was never time. I started painting when my children were grown up and I allowed myself to change my life from the ground up.I went to England and when I learned to slow down and slow down my lifestyle, painting came along. At first it was just a need to express the inner contentment and peace I found. The need for colour. And so I started with abstraction. It's amazing how colors can express emotions and transfer your feelings to someone else. Later on I moved on to painting real objects as well, although the colour and expression remain. Now I also attend painting courses in Spain where I have found my place. A small town by the sea, where life flows quietly and slowly and the colours are " breathtaking" all year round. I can no longer imagine my life without painting. You see things around you with different eyes, you feel the need to express your inner world, your emotions ....and then you sit down at the canvas, prepare the colours you feel and start creating. At this point I stop perceiving the world around me.
