I’ve always loved painting, but what I love most is painting the sea. It’s always my primary source of inspiration as an artist. I love the colors of the sea. The water is constantly in motion—the ebb and flow—it’s in a constant state of transformation, constantly shifting like positive and negative energy. I grew up not far from the sea. When I paint the sea, I feel it as if it were right nearby; I hear the waves breaking, and I feel its freshness. This work fills me with the energy of the sea, which I’m happy to share with you.
