Jindřich Adamec

A painter born in 1962. His work draws on his art education at the People’s Conservatory and his long-standing personal connection to painting.

Jindřich Adamec was born on September 24, 1962. His relationship with the visual arts took shape at a young age and gradually developed through his studies and personal artistic practice.

In the 1980s, he was employed by Czechoslovak Shipping, where he worked in the mechanical engineering sector. At the same time, however, he devoted himself to art education and the development of his artistic talent.

He studied at the People’s Conservatory under Professor Ovčáčková, who had a significant influence on his artistic development. He also gained further experience while studying fine arts at the high school under Professor Mokráček.

In 1988, he received an honorable mention at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ostrava (AMO), which confirmed his artistic abilities and his future direction in the field of painting. His work stems from a long-standing interest in the visual arts and a distinctive approach to painterly expression.
