Konul Khalilova

I am an artist from Baku. My work primarily explores the connection between emotions, memory, and the natural world. I am fascinated by how color, texture, and light can express inner states of mind and transform ordinary moments into something poetic.In my daily life, I draw inspiration from trees, nature, and snippets of stories from the people around me. I usually work with oil paints, acrylic paints, and the Procreate app. Since 2015, I have been painting on clothing and shoes and sewing clothes; and in 2017, I participated in the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku as a seamstress and translator; immediately afterward, I worked in Formula 1, where I was in charge of costume changes for Mariah Carey. After gaining experience in sewing and painting on clothing, I embarked on a journey into painting. In 2025, my work “The Royal Frog” won third place in London, which inspired me even more. The motivation behind my latest works is to express the delicate beauty of nature, emotions, and sometimes a combination of these with fashion.
