Lukáš Kadlec is a contemporary Czech landscape painter whose work is on the borderline between realism, impressionism and expressionism. He was born on 1 January 1986 in Hradec Králové, where he still lives and works. His paintings are traditionally made using the oil on canvas technique and depict mostly his native Hradec Králové landscape. An important element of the artist's works is light and its effects on the depicted scenery.
