Petra Dadikova entered the world of painting through a personal, gradually maturing need to create. Although her professional path originally led her to the field of scenography, painting became a natural outcome of her long-standing interest in visual expression.
The artist graduated from the St. Agnes of Bohemia School in Český Krumlov, where she studied scenography. Her experience in this field shaped her sense of composition, space, and visual atmosphere. However, she returned to painting later, driven by personal motivation and an inner impulse.
As a self-taught artist, she approaches her work intuitively, emphasizing authenticity and process. For her, painting represents a space for concentration, personal dialogue, and free experimentation. Each work emerges as an individual statement, reflecting her relationship to color, form, and emotional experience.
Petra Dadiková’s work is characterized by personal sincerity and a naturalness of expression that blends experience, spontaneity, and the joy of the creative process.
