Fire. Carving, relief. Material: wood. Plywood 50 × 50 cm, interior made of 2 × 4 mm balsa wood cross-glued, cut with a scroll saw.
The idea originated in Greece, but the piece was created in Prague. FIRE is not a painting of a flame, but wood carved in such a way that its shape evokes fire. The viewer is meant to feel the heat, the craftsmanship, and the silence of the material. Original.
