Description
The surface has not settled.
White strokes run through the wine-red, turquoise falls downward, and red drops sit in the center like footprints. “Wild” here is not an animal. It is a coat of paint that has not settled properly.
From a distance, a pink-and-white wall with a dark center.
Up close, a pasty layer, splatters, a turquoise stripe. Into the living room and hallway. Against the gray plaster. Next to a quiet still life, it takes the noise upon itself.
