Description

Through my artwork, I reflect on my personal journey toward perceiving beauty. I do not depict reality; rather, I capture the most beautiful aspects of life that I perceive as beauty.

For a long time, I perceived beauty as form; I sought it in shapes, in what I could see and touch. Currently, I see beauty in relationships; in the relationship between a mother and her child, I see the most beautiful thing this world has to offer. I consider the relationship between a nursing mother and her child to be the most beautiful thing this world has to offer.

And since I view the visual arts as a tool for the transcendence of the human soul, guiding human beings toward the ideals of humanity, through my artwork I convey to the viewer a personal experience of perceiving beauty.
