Through my artistic work I reflect a personal journey toward perceiving beauty. I don't depict reality; I capture the most beautiful things I perceive as beauty in life. For a long time I perceived beauty as form, searching for it in shapes, in what I could see and touch. Today I see beauty in relationship — in the bond between mother and child I see the most beautiful thing this world offers. I consider the relationship between a nursing mother and her child to be the most beautiful thing this world brings.
