Description
Unframed, on a roll, synthetic fabric, for installation in a poster rail.
Woman 15 is an original figurative painting depicting a seated woman viewed head-on, with her hands resting at her sides. The figure captivates with its combination of pink and brown tones, which create a striking color rendering of the human figure. The background consists of several distinct colored areas and brushstrokes: pink strokes appear in the upper part, a bold purple area on the left, and a green one on the right.
The contrast between the warm-toned figure and the colorful surroundings lends the work a distinctive artistic expression. The freer use of color emphasizes the figurative motif and connects it to the abstract-looking composition of the background. The large format allows the figure and the individual areas of color to be perceived as a cohesive whole.
The work is created with acrylic on synthetic fabric, measuring 108 × 150 cm. It is unframed, rolled up, and designed to be hung in a picture rail. It is well-suited for a spacious living room, studio, or modern interior, where it can serve as a dominant artistic element.
