Description
Peonies in a Vase. Expressive floral; contemporary painting. Pink and purple, with gold and neon. Mixed media on canvas: oil, acrylic, spray paint, gold and neon pigments, impasto, drips, glossy varnish. 60 × 80 cm, 2025
This is no quiet bouquet. Pink and purple peonies burst through the paint, some still closed, others open all the way to neon. Golden dots and dripping paint hold the chaos in place; the vase is merely a threshold. “Flourish” means to bloom: the courage to be seen, beauty that emerges from disorder. The viewer should feel movement, brilliance, and a sense of release. Signed, painted edges, ready to hang, with a certificate of authenticity.
