Description
Captivated Nymphs. A figurative painting with pop art and video game elements. Two nude figures sit with their backs turned, gazing into a circular frame where a satyr plays the flute. Below, a man is grappling with an orange beast with a 1UP symbol glowing on it. Painting, 90 × 120 cm.
Blue and purple form the background, while the orange beast and the nymphs’ bodies glow. Captivated Nymphs combines the classical nude with a reference to video games. The viewer is meant to feel the tension, the gaze, and the energy. Original artwork.
