In this work I tried to capture the calm yet lively energy of a winter stream, intertwined with the ethereal mood of the surrounding landscape. Using oil paints, I combined abstract and impressionist techniques to express the chill of the environment in contrast with the warmth of the enduring spirit of nature. This work is intended to bring a feeling of quiet contemplation and refreshing crispness of a winter scene to any space it adorns.
