Ve skalách (In the Rocks)

Description

Rocks can take many forms. Sometimes we imagine them as massive natural formations; other times, as places where we can pause for a moment and let our imagination run wild. Zdeněk Duron’s abstract painting *In the Rocks* offers space for personal interpretation and the search for one’s own meaning.

The composition consists of bold areas of color. The yellow vertical strip on the left contrasts with the large blue area on the right. The black block at the top and the beige background add further visual tension to the abstract painting. The title of the work can thus serve as an invitation to envision a landscape of one’s own, without the painting unambiguously defining its form.

"In the Rocks" is an original abstract painting on canvas, created with acrylics. It will appeal to lovers of contemporary art, modern abstraction, and paintings that do not present a single narrative but leave the viewer free to interpret the work.

Measuring 70 × 90 cm, the artwork can take pride of place on the wall of a living room, study, or formal space. Its striking color composition can serve as a standalone element in a modern interior, offering an interesting contrast to simpler decor.

The rocks are just as you’d imagine them...
