Anna Židlická

I paint using a variety of techniques. I enjoy the unpredictability of the results when combining different materials, textures, and colors. I like to let myself be inspired; I’m constantly discovering and trying out new techniques. Through my paintings, I strive to bring a sense of calm into the viewer’s life. They invite people to pause for a moment and immerse themselves in their colors. I’m drawn to subjects and objects that possess their own beauty, uninfluenced by human intervention. This is reflected in my work as freely flowing colors in poured acrylic and alcohol-based inks, or drawings and paintings of natural motifs such as water, flowers, the sky, and so on. The result is original and unique artwork.
