She was born in Pelhřimov. She studied oil painting at the Master School of Art Design in Prague, fine arts at Charles University (with a focus on elementary art education), and at J.A.K. University in Prague.
The paintings created by Dita Nováková most often capture the atmosphere of landscapes or depict everyday objects in still lifes. Characteristic of her work is the artist’s distinctive style, which brings unique—though at first glance ordinary—moments to life in her paintings. Her subjects often include landscapes featuring forest paths, waterfalls, views of mountains or gardens, or still lifes with fruit or flowers.
She has held 12 solo and 25 group exhibitions, and her work is represented in numerous private collections in the Czech Republic and abroad.
She lives and works in the Kladno area. She focuses primarily on oil painting on large and medium-sized canvases.
