.My parents encouraged me to pursue the arts from childhood. I took pottery classes, attended an art club, and danced. But during puberty, like every teenager, I had completely different interests, so I took a “few” years off. I returned to painting about four years ago, and over the past year I’ve been trying to get more actively involved in the art scene and am moving forward one small step at a time.
I love painting colorful abstract works; I enjoy experimenting with color combinations. My main medium is acrylic in all its forms—paints, sprays, inks, and markers. I like to use texture in my paintings to give them a sense of depth and make them feel more accessible to the viewer. In 2023, my main theme was circles and their symbolism. In 2024, it was the female body. I called this series Bella Donna, and it’s essentially a diary of my most powerful experiences.
Abstract art offers us endless possibilities for self-expression, and everyone can find something of their own in it. For me personally, painting and creating are a form of therapy. When I paint, I think of nothing but colors, and my hands essentially guide me on their own. In that moment, I feel free. I infuse my paintings with only positive energy. I hope that everyone who brings one of my paintings into their home will find the same joy in it that I felt while creating it.
