Contemporary Ukrainian-Slovak painter Figurative + abstract painting · portraits of women · emotions and inner worlds “I paint so that people can see themselves in the painting.”Born in 1971 in Kyiv into an artistic family, his mother was his first painting teacher. He studied at the painting school of the Union of Artists of Ukraine in P. Zikunov’s studio. For more than 20 years, he has been developing his own style—a harmonious blend of color, light, texture, and emotion. A significant part of his body of work consists of an extensive series of female portraits that reveal a woman’s psychology through her gaze and the atmosphere of the painting.
He believes that a painting is a tool for self-discovery, helping to transcend the boundaries of perception, touch one’s inner reality, and find new inspiration in life. Her works are represented in private and public collections in the United States, Austria, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Canada, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Spain.
