Aitiev Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts, the Tolon Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Prince Allada and King Uida Dada Bokpe Uezreuehe Museum in the Republic of Benin.
Islam Doorov explores the “small, lost person” in a contemporary space filled with noise, war, and indifference. His primary media are painting and text (poetry, prose). The subject of his research is the human being—specifically, how this “little person” changes the world around them, or how they themselves change under its influence. Doorov’s primary method is to restrict himself to certain frameworks (time, color, or theme). Main themes: migration, ecology, and the sociocultural situation in Kyrgyzstan. His works are also often autobiographical.
