Jan Paďour
Česká republika 🇨🇿
Born on March 8, 1971, in Moravská Třebová. Trained at SOUZ Jevíčko. Since 2005, he has devoted himself to painting and small-scale sculpture—woodcarving. The quality of his work is expressed through feelings and sensations, with nature—viewed through a different lens—as a central element. The world of beetles, butterflies, moths, and meadow flowers is stylized into abstract forms and captured in the moment, underscored by a keen sense of color. For the attentive viewer, the sight of a work of art is a collection of sensations that always have a powerful effect on their consciousness. Today, his artworks can be found in many households in the Czech Republic, as well as in private galleries. Solo exhibitions: 2006 Svitavy, Gallery of Vysočina Painters (curated by Jan Čihák); 2006 Olomouc, Art Gallery—Cultural Center. 2006 Moravská Třebová—Ladislav Boskovic Castle Library. 2007 750th Anniversary of M. T. Hedva. Group exhibitions: 2006 Welen – Café u Krokodýla, St. Joseph’s Chapel (Moravská Třebová).
