Jana Sádriková

Native of Klášterec nad Ohří, born 7 May 1971 (self-taught painter) Beginnings: when she was deciding where to go to high school and her choice of art school did not pass through the sieve of her parents' care at the time, she graduated from a school that had little to do with art. However, years later, it became clear that art was the purpose of her life. In 2005, she started to work more intensively again, when she began to see this activity as an opportunity for self-expression and an escape from everyday worries. Style and intention of work. It is about combining different acrylic techniques, where the result is not predetermined. It is just a play with colours combined with her own imagination full of fantasy. The media she uses for her paintings are acrylic paints, structuring gels, but also fabrics, natural materials. She loves nature and so her original and somewhat surreal paintings are full of love for it, landscapes full of colour, love, tenderness and kindness. They are stories of a forest community in which the attentive viewer will find hidden objects and symbols. She called her project Nature in the Living Room - let's bring a piece of beautiful nature through paintings into our homes or boring offices. Through her paintings she wants to bring harmony and positive thinking. Today her hobby is also her profession. Apart from painting pictures, she also organizes art classes for the general public. Several times a year her work is presented at joint and solo exhibitions and her paintings are in private collections in the Czech Republic and abroad.
