For me, creating is connected to space. For many years, I created decorations and wedding arrangements, and I helped design a hotel’s interior. Then I switched to painting and working with materials.
I’m interested in old architecture: peeling walls, cracks, layers of plaster, and fragments of ornamentation. I work with texture and muted colors inspired by Italy and old buildings. The circle is a recurring motif in my paintings.
Non è bello ciò che è bello, ma è bello ciò che piace. It is not beautiful what is beautiful, but beautiful is what one likes.
