Martin Fabián Rusek

I received my art education (graphic design, painting, photography, and theater) under the guidance of outstanding teachers at several art schools in Ostrava. Since 1999, I have been working as an independent artist and have held 24 solo exhibitions. More than two hundred of my works have found new homes in private collections in the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Poland, and Slovakia. Through my paintings, I want to share my perception of the colors and scents of the world with others, but above all, I want to enjoy myself and take pleasure in the process of painting. I am drawn to wild, expressive, and spontaneous painting. In my work, I strive to be clear and authentic, and I want to evoke positive emotions in people. I paint with my heart. I pour an enormous amount of energy and focus into my paintings. I believe this is evident in the finished works and that a sensitive viewer can draw positive energy from them even years later.
