A French-Czech-Slovak photographer and artist who combines traditional photography with experimental printing and painting techniques. His works resemble paintings thanks to his manual manipulation of emulsions and textures, which give each photograph a three-dimensional, painterly quality.
For many years, Robert focused on fashion and commercial photography and collaborated with prestigious brands, but he gradually shifted toward fine art photography. His images are introspective; they slow down time and invite the viewer to deeply experience emotions.
Robert Jaso’s works have been exhibited at numerous international venues, from Paris to Florence to galleries in London and across the UK. In 2023, he won the Photography Prize at the Florence Biennale.
