A French-Czech-Slovak photographer and artist who combines traditional photography with experimental printing and painting techniques. His works resemble paintings thanks to his manual manipulation of emulsions and textures, which give each photograph a three-dimensional, painterly quality.
Robert spent many years working in fashion and commercial photography, collaborating with prestigious brands, but gradually shifted his focus to fine art. His images are introspective; they slow down time and invite the viewer to experience deep emotions.
Robert Jaso’s works have been exhibited at numerous international venues, from Paris to Florence to galleries in London and across the UK. In 2023, he won the photography award at the Florence Biennale.
