Veronika Hlavatá

Ever since I was little, I’ve loved drawing and painting, but you know how it is—those little kids’ drawings on smudged paper. When I was choosing a high school, I knew I wanted to go to an art school, but until 9th grade I hadn’t devoted much time to drawing, so in 9th grade I took a few prep courses for the talent exams to make sure I was sufficiently prepared—I’m grateful for my parents’ support. I was accepted into the graphic design program at the high school in Lysá nad Labem, where I’m still attending today. I’m currently a sophomore in high school. I had my first exhibition at Open Art Fest, which really helped me grow, and that’s why I want to share my paintings with you, pass them on, and bring joy to others.
