Vlastimil Peška born in 1954. Baroque personality of Czech culture. Composer, director, actor, playwright, writer, stage designer, theatre director emeritus and painter. Everything I do is my pleasure, which I like to pass on to my audience, readers or visitors of my exhibitions. When people smile when they see my work, it is like a sweet kiss for me. Studies: conservatory Brno - violin, JAMU Brno - composition, conducting and drama directing; JAMU Brno. I studied painting and graphic arts privately. I have always gravitated towards impressionists, naivists and surrealists. A great pleasure in my work is the combination of the above mentioned painting directions. My latest passion is writing books. My children's books, New Tales of Dog and Cat and Shot Fairy Tales, which I also illustrated, are available on the market. I also illustrated my other books, which were published in 2023 by Time. An Atlas of Forgotten Mushrooms and a book of short stories called Flirts, Cuties, Uglies, and Fags. The most recent book so far published by Time is a transcendent novella, Invisible, again with my illustrations.
