Ľubomír Miča

Ľubom r Miča (1960), member of the Association of Artists of Western Slovakia and founder of the art association, since 2019 included in the FPU's list of professional artists in Slovakia, has been engaged in artistic expression for about ten years, in addition to his business activities. Since the beginning of the millennium he has been engaged in artistic activity and painting expression. Repeated probes into basic artistic problems are mostly set in the circle of non-subjective thematic composition, where the links to reality are suppressed and, on the contrary, painting itself as an autonomous medium is important. Only rarely does it reach for the processing of sensory stimuli, drawn primarily from the locally observed landscape. The author's decisive room for manoeuvre is primarily the exploration of the possibilities of painterly form and expression, based primarily on the additive projection of coloured masses.
