Description

The sky has fallen into the flowers.

Below, burgundy crowns with dark centers; above, a pink expanse and pilgrims. The wax let the color flow; the flower is matter, the sky is breath. In between, a bright path, narrow as an exhalation.

From a distance, a warm, rich wall.

Up close, baked-in wax, white deposits, black strokes of branches.

Into the bedroom and living room. In the evening, the magenta deepens; the pink sky remains soft.
