Rozkvetlá louka (A Meadow in Full Bloom)
Select Frame
Description
The meadow stretches all the way to the sky.
The poppy takes center stage, while the cornflower and daisy play second fiddle; the wax lets the flower be a solid form. In the middle, a bright strip—not a flowerbed, but air. Birds above. The iron made the sky flow.
From a distance, a red meadow beneath a blue sky.
Up close, baked-on wax, the black center of a poppy, a drop in the sky.
Into the living room and the hallway. Toward the white frame and the wood. Daylight lifts the poppies.
