Description
This is the same serpent, the one that once offered the fruit of knowledge to Adam and Eve. Here, however, he is not a tempter in the shadows. He is part of the tree. Part of nature. Part of knowledge itself. The apples burn like living hearts. Heavy, ripe, filled with light and mystery. The serpent coils around the trunk not as an enemy, but as a guardian. His body, cold and ancient, contrasts with the blazing red of the fruits. He does not attack. He waits. In this work there is no sin. There is choice. A moment when innocence still exists, but knowledge is already n
