Sen alchymisty (The Alchemist's Dream)

Description

In this painting I tried to capture the mysterious moment of inspiration, when the boundaries between reality and dream dissolve. The main figure is an old alchemist, immersed in deep thoughts. Tired, he fell asleep and in his dreams formulas, symbols and secret knowledge he had been seeking all his life come to life. Time has stopped on the clock, ravens whisper forgotten incantations and the light of the lamp illuminates the pages of mysterious notes. His colourful cap symbolises the journey of the mind – chaotic, but filled with brilliant insights. World
