From a failed canvas with a different motif emerged a wonderful underpainting for a portrait of a woman with flowers. Thanks to the layering of colors on a contrasting ground, an unexpected depth was created in the painting, which is entirely unique for acrylic in this form. This work shows that every journey has its destination.
