The Trio - Courtship
This painting was inspired by the U Trojánků restaurant, where I had the honor of organizing two exhibitions. I was captivated by its peaceful atmosphere, the pond, the majestic willow tree, and the place where people gather, chat, listen to music, and create new memories.
"Trojka - Courtship" is a tribute to these moments. It tells the story of how something extraordinary—friendship, love, or an unforgettable story—can arise from even the most ordinary of encounters.
The dominant feature of the painting is a water sprite hidden among the branches of the willow tree, who, with a smile, beckons his chosen one—a graceful mermaid from the pond. Their encounter symbolizes that first spark, mutual attraction, and the magic of the moment when two paths merge into one. It is a fairy-tale motif that reminds us that love often finds us when we least expect it.
