Description

The light here doesn’t pour in through a single window. It’s layered. Yellow, green, vermilion, and white overlap in small patches, as if the sun were shattering against the leaves and glass. The eye has nowhere to rest, and that’s the magic of it.

Subject: a non-representational all-over composition. No scene, no tree. Just a dense mosaic of brushstrokes that creates a shimmer.

Style: lyrical abstraction / abstract impressionism. Impressionistic acrylic, short, broad strokes, overpainting. Color as a reflection, not as a depiction of things.

From a distance, a vibrant, sunlit wall. Up close, a mosaic of brushstrokes—red next to lime green, with patches of white illuminating the surface.

It works well in a living room, dining room, or bright hallway. Placed next to wood and plants, it takes on even more depth. In a gray interior, it brings in daylight without feeling like a kitschy sunset.
