Denys Chumachenko

Denys Chumachenko is a painter based in Spain. His work straddles the line between abstraction and figurative art—he depicts bodies that are not entirely distinct, forms composed more of gestures, colors, and spatial tension than of narrative. Over more than a decade of creative work, he has developed a visual language in which the figure becomes a field of inner states: present but unstable, recognizable but not firmly defined. He works primarily with oil and acrylic paints on wood, creating surfaces that convey meaning through color and gesture rather than illustration. His works are held in private collections throughout Europe and have been featured in group exhibitions in Spain, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
