Odrazy skla 189 (Reflections in Glass 189)
Select Frame
Description
The paint isn’t on the wall here. It’s behind the glass.
Green and turquoise areas overlap like reflections on panes of glass; yellow burns quietly beneath them, and the vermilion is just a fragment. The grooves in the paint give the impression that the image can be shifted, revealing yet another layer behind it.
From a distance, a soft, watery wall.
Up close, a scratch, a translucent patch, and a signature in the lower right corner.
For the living room and study. By the window, metal, light wood. Next to real glass, it begins to harmonize.
Original.
Layered translucent surfaces, a groove in the paint. The impression of glazing and reflection without a single window.
