Description
The girl stands casually, hand on her hip, with a dog at her feet. The scarf, the thin shoulder strap, and the book in her palm make her a distinct figure, not just a nude. The surface of the nano bronze catches the light in the folds of her skirt and in the dog’s fur. The sculpture exudes the tranquility of a domestic scene while also possessing the dignity that metal can convey. The viewer is meant to feel the figure’s closeness and warmth, as well as the durability of the material.
Material: nano bronze (a modern bronze with a fine texture, a durable surface, and the appearance and weight of metal).
What is nano bronze?
Nano bronze is a modern bronze material with a very fine texture. It looks and feels like classic bronze, but the surface is denser, more resistant to abrasion and weathering, and retains its patina better. The sculpture has the weight of metal; it does not feel like resin or plaster. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
