Noty Života (Notes of Life)

Description

This diptych was created out of a desire to capture the silence, rhythm, and subtle poetry of everyday life. I am fascinated by how ordinary moments can create perfect harmony when viewed up close. The work consists of two separate canvases that interact and complement each other. For me, the horizontal lines symbolize the passage of time and stability, while the tiny silhouettes of birds scattered along the lines resemble living notes on a musical staff.

Each has its own place, its own story, and together they sing a quiet song of freedom and connection. In creating this piece, I relied on a warm combination of ochre and gold, contrasting with white and clean black lines. The distinctive texture of the wood grain and subtle scratching add patina and depth to the painting. I created this diptych to bring a sense of lightness, perspective, and a pleasant visual rhythm to any interior.
