With this work, I wanted to create an imaginary gateway to another dimension—to our own inner selves. The title “Portal XS” refers to the more intimate format of the canvas, which nonetheless conceals immense depth and concentrated energy. The composition is built on strong contrasts and the dynamics of circular movement.
Distinctive, organic lines in earthy and golden tones surround the central point like the growth rings of a tree, a vortex of time, or natural textures. These lines uncompromisingly draw the viewer into the center, where a pure, luminous core opens up. I perceive the bright circle as a safe space, a point of transformation, and the light at the end of the tunnel.
The black contours lend the work a graphic character and strength, while the delicate textures and layering of colors underscore its mystery. I created this painting as a meditative object—small in size but powerful in its message. I believe it brings deep energy, a harmonious visual center, and a desire to discover hidden worlds into your interior.
