Description
Konul Khalil’s painting *While the Roots Grow* depicts a stylized female figure that blends naturally with the plant world. Shades of blue and turquoise blend with strokes of pink, purple, and yellow, lending the figure depth and vibrancy. Green leaves and branches surround her, connecting the human figure with the natural environment.
The woman has her head tilted back slightly and her eyes closed. Her expression appears calm and relaxed, as if she has paused for a moment to let herself be guided by her own inner world. The green background reinforces the sense of connection with nature, while the contrasting color accents bring energy and a subtle dynamism to the composition.
The work *While the Roots Grow* may evoke the process of growth, taking root, and finding balance. The title refers to what unfolds gradually and often hidden—much like roots that grow stronger beneath the surface. The painting will appeal to lovers of contemporary art, nature motifs, and colorful compositions with a feminine theme.
