When I was painting "Luděk Proks - Plums and Autumn Mood in the Vysočina Region", I stood on a hill above Vysočina, where the autumn wind wove through the bare branches of the trees. The gray sky, full of heavy clouds, was mirrored in the green meadows, still warm from the last rays of sunshine. I felt the cold on my skin, but at the same time the earthy warmth beneath my feet, where plums fell onto the soft ground. Each brushstroke carried with it a quiet melancholy, but also comfort in that natural beauty slowly settling to sleep. Pain
