Mixed media, resin, pigments, real objects, porcelain shards, gallery frame, wooden rosary. The sound of shattering porcelain filled the space. A blue-and-white vase that had adorned the home for generations broke into dozens of shards. It was as if not only it had broken, but a piece of the past as well. In the chaos of revealed forgetting, a wooden rosary glimmered among the fragments – carefully hidden inside, invisible for years.
