When I painted this picture, I imagined it as a small chapter from a book. A story about someone who escaped the everyday hustle for a moment and found peace by the sea. The lighthouse symbolizes certainty for me. Something solid that remains standing, even when everything around is moving. Waves come and go, birds fly above the horizon, but that moment of silence is still there. I wanted to capture exactly that moment when a person finally exhales. Without pressure. Without haste.
