The sculpture “The Archangel’s Revelation” combines solid, oil-treated oak wood, radiant fused glass resembling a petrified tear, and a crown made from a Baroque ornament. The story tells of an old oak trunk, in whose core the archangel left his light after it was struck by lightning. The work thus serves as a visual metaphor for the connection between rugged earthly matter and eternal divine light.
