Description

This painting is very, really very much inspired by one old Christmas postcard, whose author is the Swedish painter Lennart Helje, who lived between 1940 and 2017 and liked to paint Christmas elves accompanied by some little animal. On the postcard that I took as inspiration, the elf has, besides the cat, also a mouse with him and both are looking the other way than mine. But I probably have something with my brain and painting anything turned to the right gives me trouble, not that I won't somehow manage it in the end, but my brain boils, so
