POŽÁR SMYSLŮ // SENSES ON FIRE (FIRE OF THE SENSES // SENSES ON FIRE)

Description

Everything that drives us forward begins within us. Our senses are heightened by the power of the muse; we feel as if someone has jolted us with high voltage. I wanted to capture this feeling—when, for the time being, only we know what’s happening inside us, but the steps we take on this impulse will soon shake our entire world!

This oil-on-canvas painting is actually much more vibrant in person. It features shades of fire combined with brown and cool, light blue highlights on the cheeks. It’s a very powerful painting that can jolt someone out of their chair and compel them to make a difficult decision.
