Description
Two canvases, one breath.
Three large flowers, anemones that don’t let their name define winter. The petals are cool, the centers dark, as if the frost had reached only the edge of the corolla. The dark background is silent. The flower shines against it without screaming.
From a distance, bright corollas against a burgundy wall.
Up close, a layer of petals, a green center, a vertical seam between the parts. Side by side above a sofa or dresser. Keep the gap between the canvases narrow—winter should remain as one.
