Description

I painted this picture at the request of—and based on a photograph by—an artist I know. He wanted to see how I would convey the emotions of those landscapes. I wanted to convey the tranquility of the boat, the ruggedness of the surrounding nature, and the dynamism of the clouds. The painting was created with a palette knife in an expressive style.
